Christina Blot, MSN, FNP-BC, earned her Master of Science as a family nurse practitioner from the State University of New York Polytechnic Institute. She began her undergraduate studies at Purdue University Global, where she received a Bachelor of Science in nursing. Christina is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American Nurses Association, the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing: Phi Rio Chapter, and the Nurse Practitioners Association. Christina also obtained her X-Waiver (ability to prescribe suboxone for opioid use disorder) and treats opioid use disorder as part of her primary care practice.
Christina knew she wanted to have a career in medicine from a young age. Before joining Community Care Physicians, Christina worked as a registered nurse case manager, registered nurse consultant, and registered nurse throughout the Capital Region, NY. Christina’s favorite part of her job is promoting wellness by educating her patients on the topics of healthy eating and exercise. She also focuses on her patient’s mental health as part of her ongoing patient care. Christina has a specific interest in disease prevention, women’s health, health promotion, and children’s health.
In Christina’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, running, hiking, and being active in general.
