Dr. Jaclyn Frandolig is a resident physician at Albany Family Medicine in Albany, NY. Born and raised on Long Island, NY, she first ventured upstate for undergrad at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, where she studied biological sciences and played on the club softball team. After graduating, she moved to Baltimore, MD, and worked in a neuroscience lab at Johns Hopkins. Three years and many neurons later, Dr. Frandolig returned to New York to attend medical at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. During this time, she served as a hospice volunteer, mentored a cancer survivor, and participated in a year-long family medicine rotation. She loves working with people of all ages at various stages of life and especially loves interacting with family units. This is why Dr. Frandolig believes family medicine to be the perfect fit. She was also inspired by the thoughtfulness and dedication of the many wonderful family medicine doctors she was blessed to work with. Within family medicine, Dr. Frandolig is interested in palliative care, women’s health, and integrative medicine. Outside of medicine, she loves to be outdoors, whether hiking, running, skiing, or swimming in lakes. Dr. Frandolig also adores family dog Benji, decorating for Christmas, and listening to Taylor Swift.
